120528 Monday: Rounding out the month.

So, as I'm rounding out the month, I'm happy to say I'm still going, which is more than I thought would happen. My memory is so bad I thought I'd crap out in the first few days but thanks to msmcknittington, I had an audience from day one. :)

I thought I might throw the floor open to volunteers this month but I think I'm going to go on through June as I get a hang of the community and its needs. I am hoping to, as mentioned previously, make an effort to post closer to noon EST. I think I'll add the current Members Only post link to the standard posting template. If we begin to get a lot of offerings there, I'll make it a weekly post, not a monthly post. Under the cut, I'll run down some reminders...

You're welcome to post in the MO post ANYTIME. Drop a comment in the most recent update post with a link to your excerpt to let us know where it is so we can share.

If you need help, comment in the most recent update. If you have something you want to link to or rant about or have me post about in the next update, again, comment! Please, take the conversation off-road.

If you'd like to post something that's not an update, like a book/product review or a post on writing, let me know. There is room for that here, because this is meant to be a resource. If there's enough interest, we can find regular times to do that.

This community is for writing, just plain writing. While some of the topics and conversation may meander into those areas, and some of us are under deadlines or doing edits, I hope this community never makes you never feel that the end-game of writing is to get past the gatekeepers of the publishing world.
